The Terry Sling was originally dreamed up in 2014. Prototypes were made and shown to people in Huntington Beach CA and Hawaii. Unfortunately, it was not well received as most people walk a short distance to the water and therefore did not see the need. The Terry Sling was originally dreamed up in 2014. Prototypes were made and shown to people in Huntington Beach CA and Hawaii. Unfortunately, it was not well received as most people walk a short distance to the water and therefore did not see the need. Fast forward 10 years, now in the UK, the sling is shown to a Surf instructor who recognises the value and convenience it would add to both the surfer and SUP'er. We are convinced that it will make a difference especially to those who use longboards and SUP, parents carrying multiple boards and those who have to walk a distance to the water.

At Terry Sling, our mission is to take the effort out of getting your board to and from the water so that you have more energy for the water.
We aim to bring gadgets and gizmos to the world of Surfing and SUP, not to mention create a community that stands together and supports one another.

Our team is made up James Denton (see above), who is an ISA Surf Instructor, SLSGB Surf Coach Safety and Rescue and surfer of 30 years.
Paul Vasey is the creator of the Terry Sling and newbie to the world of surf.
